A HORSE OF COURSE

Baker A+D teamed up with Anchor Built Inc. to develop this 'Wild West' themed playhouse for the 2015 New Mexico Appleseed Parade of Playhouses Design/Build Competition. Each team was tasked with creating a 10'x10'x10' playhouse which would then be auctioned off to raise money to help NM Appleseed in their mission of lifting New Mexico's children and their communities out of poverty. The final design took on a 'Wild West' meets 'Trojan Horse' concept where children can hang comfortably in the rope belly, slid down the bright red tail or ascend to the top via the haunch ladder and peer out the eye. Appropriately titled 'A Horse of Course' the design went on to raise twenty thousand dollars for New Mexico Appleseed.
