The Pendaries Village was severely damaged in 2022 by the Calf Canyon-Hermits Peak Fire and is in the process of rebuilding. The scope of work for this project included designing and relocating several lodges, a community center, restaurant and bar, and a yard area for vehicular maintenance and storage.
The different programmatic elements are spread across ~40 acres and the initial planning included geotechnical surveying and a 3rd party cost analysis.
The Calf Canyon-Hermits Peak Fire affected over 325,000 acres of land and many of the affected communities have been working together to recover from the damages. The Pendaries Village community has been working hard to reconstruct as quickly as possible with the resources available. Because of this, there has not been a particular schedule, aside from fast-tracking initial efforts to obtain funding for construction. Baker A+D has completed preliminary master planning for this project and is ready to move forward as soon as we receive a green light to do so.
